Outcome

The enclosure blends consumer-grade aesthetics with engineering rigor: an internal chimney and radial base draw air silently across hot zones; side louvers are tuned for minimal back-pressure and reduced EMI leakage; split-level base allows clean separation of RF, PSU and digital domains. The result is a robust, easy-to-assemble product with stable thermals and excellent radio performance.

What we did

  • Industrial design and CMF exploration
  • Thermal path design (passive & assisted airflow)
  • EMC-aware venting + internal partitioning
  • DFM/DFA for injection molding & die casting
  • Exploded layouts and assembly jigs

Highlights

  • Tool-ready draft/parting, living-hinge door for reset
  • Serviceable I/O bay with light-pipe indicators
  • Isolated antenna bosses for RF integrity
  • Hidden wall-mount plate and anti-vibration feet
  • Fastener minimised, snap-fit primary assembly
